An AI assistant can help visitors understand your products and decide what to do next. Start with a specific customer task, then work out the information, permissions, and review steps needed to support it.

## Where Noodle Seed stands today

Noodle Seed is building AI agents for customer conversations on websites, inside products, and in AI apps. The current product is available through a waitlist. Joining does not create an account or give immediate access.

Earlier versions of this guide described Halo and older offers. Those prices, trials, setup times, and installation instructions are not the current offer. See [planned Noodle Seed pricing and conversation allowances](https://noodleseed.com/pricing) for the current plans, and [join the waitlist](https://noodleseed.com/waitlist) for access updates. The [Noodle Seed developer platform](https://noodleseed.dev/?utm_source=noodleseed.com&utm_medium=referral) is a separate entry point for teams building integrations.

## 1\. Choose the first customer task

Pick one journey with a clear outcome. A retailer might help someone compare products. A software business might explain which plan fits a team. A services business might help a visitor understand appointment requirements before contacting staff.

Write down the questions people actually ask, the information a good answer needs, and when a person should take over. An answer, a lead captured, and a booking confirmed are different outcomes. Measure them separately.

## 2\. Prepare information you can trust

Start with current product descriptions, pricing, delivery information, policies, and contact details. Remove conflicting versions and give each source an owner. Decide how updates reach the assistant and what it should say when information is missing.

Keep private customer records out of public knowledge. A question about a specific order or account needs a verified identity and the appropriate access to your business systems.

## 3\. Separate answers from actions

Explaining a returns policy needs information. Submitting a return needs an integration, permission, and a confirmed result from the underlying system. Decide which steps the assistant may perform and which details a customer must review first.

For an initial rollout, answering questions and directing people to an existing workflow may be enough. Add account-specific actions only after the connection, access checks, failure handling, and handoff are tested.

## 4\. Check installation requirements and test

Before choosing a website assistant, confirm how it integrates with your actual site. Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, Wix, and custom sites have different installation and security controls. Check the provider's current documentation and supported integration list; this guide does not promise a Noodle Seed app-store installation or plugin for each platform.

Test on a staging site first. Try a narrow phone screen, keyboard navigation, incorrect or incomplete questions, unavailable services, and requests the assistant must refuse or hand to your team. Confirm that ordinary navigation and checkout still work if the assistant cannot load.

Review [security and access considerations](https://noodleseed.com/security) before connecting customer data. Agree on what is collected, who can see conversations, and how customers reach a person.

## 5\. Measure useful outcomes

Track the questions visitors ask and whether they receive a useful answer. For actions, count only results confirmed by the system that owns the booking, order, or lead. Review failures and abandoned conversations alongside successful ones.

Under Noodle Seed's planned pricing, one conversation is counted when a new assistant session starts. Messages within that session do not each consume another conversation. Check the [pricing page](https://noodleseed.com/pricing) for allowances and plan terms rather than relying on older article prices.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can I start using Noodle Seed immediately?

The current website invites you to join the waitlist. It does not promise immediate access, a free trial, or a launch date.

### Do I need a developer?

That depends on the assistant, your website, and the actions you need. An information-only experience and an account-specific workflow have different integration requirements. Confirm the implementation scope before committing.

### Is a website assistant the same as a ChatGPT app?

A website assistant serves visitors on your own site. An app in an external AI platform has a separate distribution and integration process. Neither route guarantees discovery, rankings, or customer results.

### What does it cost?

Current proposed plans and conversation allowances are maintained on the [Noodle Seed pricing page](https://noodleseed.com/pricing). Earlier Halo and Plus offers in this archive do not describe the current product.
